| Submission Requirements
What do I include in the nomination package?
Please include the following information to support the CFO's achievements:
- A detailed description of the nominee's organization, including a description of products, services and overall strategic goals.
- Details of why the nominee should be considered for Canada's CFO of the Year Award.
- A summary of the nominee's role and impact on the organization's initiatives and performance, independent of other C-level executives.
- A biography or resume of the nominee along with a recent photograph.
- In addition to the CEO of the nominee's organization, a listing of three individuals who worked with the nominee in his or her efforts and who may provide reference. Include each person's name, title, company name, email address, company address and direct telephone number.
- Copies of the organization's latest annual or if no annual report is available, income statements for each of the last three years. For public companies, a full share price history for the last three years.
- Detailed financial information including but not limited to:
- Revenues
- EBITDA (earning before
interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization)
- Earning per share
- Return on shareholder's
equity
- Cash flow from operations
- Total assets
- Total debts
- Sales per employee
(if applicable)
- Market position
- Candidates will disclose any regulatory action or material financial restatements that have transpired during their tenure at their current or past organization(s). Neither will necessarily disqualify a candidate. Please refer to the Confidentiality section for further details.
